“ Lovely spot! We had the matzo ball soup and the pierogis, and sat at the counter. The pierogis were fantastic, and the matzo ball soup was quite good, too. The place is fairly small and narrow, so bear that in mind when planning, but a lovely, intimate environment if you can get a seat! ”

“ This is my new favorite place and I wish I could give it like thirty stars. Sorry my photos are so horrendous, the food was so good I only remembered to take pictures after Id already demolished much of the meal, the meal that will go in down in history as one of the best meals of my life. Soup is always too cold whenever I order it anywhere, but their lentil soup was perfect, scorching in the best way. It was also the absolute best lentil soup Ive ever had. I really dont know Ive been wandering through life without the grand gift that is BH Dairy. The food is comforting and flavorful and you can tell so much care goes into all of it. The space is kind of cramped but thats part of the charm. We got chatting with the delightful couple next to us who gave us their recommendations and correctly told us wed have our minds blown by whatever we got which turned out to be lentil soup, borscht, boiled pierogis with sour cream and onion, and their sweet potato knish with mushroom gravy. Everything was beyond perfect. Worldchanging. It felt like a religious experience. I was moved nearly to tears. I have so much love for this wonderful wonderful restaurant and I cant wait to become a regular and try absolutely everything. ”

“ This place is top notch. I have walked past this place for 25 years and have always been curious about the food. Finally made it here because of a craving for borscht. Im so glad I did. The place was packed on an early Saturday afternoon. The space is tiny. Ordered the borscht, lentil soup, veggie burger, potato pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce. Everything was delicious. Let me tell you, you wont leave hungry for sure. And!!!! the service was super quick and very friendly!!! They really make you feel welcomed here. I cant wait to go back and try more stuff. ”
